Nearly exactly four years ago (at 6th June 2012) I announced the opening of the project KBimg, which was an image hoster to provide a fast, free and ad-free solution to share your own images. It was successful for me. The moment I realized that at some time I want to upgrade to Community Framework 2 I had to close the project for new images because there was no capacity in develop the project further and use it with Community Framework 2.
At this time I couldn’t even imagine that the WoltLab Gallery will be useful in its current version. However, I decided to reopen the project again and even care for it. This time it is also HTTPS secured so that you can share your image even on secured websites without a problem.
Not only the software and the security has changed, but also the name. From now the project is called KittIMG.
I’m pleased about any user using this free and ad-free possibility to share images.
