Today I’m happy to announce the availability of Power Settings 1.0.1 to fix some bugs. However, even if it is just a bugfix release we still implemented a new feature to avoid strange reloading of pages.
In WoltLab Suite Core 3 there is a new Cache Control, which forces the browser to reload the page if you use the “Go back” button in the browser itself. It doesn’t use the cache. On the one hand, this is nice to get the most updated version of a page, however especially mobile it can take multiple seconds unless the page is shown. This is a totally horrible usability for me.
In this new version of Power Settings you can disable this new Cache Control so that the browser won’t be forced to reload the page anymore if you use the “Go back” button of your browser.
For the complete changelog, just read the versions page at the plugin page:

I wish everyone a happy time with this new version of the Power Settings!
