As soon as you are inside a category and have the permission to do so you can add a new product or edit an existing one. To edit it, you have to open the product page first. However, both actions have the same form and thus can be used similar. You can fill out the following fields:
General Information
You can set general information about the product here.
Title
You can set the title of the product here.
Description
You can set a short description (maximum 500 characters) of the product here.
Type
You can set if the product is free and thus can be downloaded by everyone or if it’s paid.
Price
If “Type” is set to “Paid” this field appears so that you can set the gross base price of the product itself. Depending on the set currency in the administration control panel it is mentioned here, in which one you set the price. More than two decimal places will be rounded automatically.
Version
You can set the version of the product here. Valid version numbers have the format „Major.Minor.Bugfix [Alpha|Beta|pl] [XX]“. For products without product files this information is optional.
Categorization
You can set information about the categorization of the product here.
Language
If multilingualism is enabled, you can set the language of the product here.
Category
You can set the category of the product here.
User Group
You can set the user group, which the customer will be assigned to after a successful purchase of the product. If no one is set no automatic assigning takes place.
Tags
You can set tags according to the product here.
Licensing
You can set the licensing terms of the product here.
License
You can set the licensing terms of the product here. If there is no useable licensing term for your product yet, you can just create your own by choosing „Add Licensing Term“. An overlay will open up where you can add an own licensing term.
Additional Options and Services
If “Type” is set to “Paid” this field appears so that you can manage additional options and services of this product. Just use the + sign to add a new option/service. An overlay will open up where you can set the following options:

Product File
You can upload the product file here. All limits, which were set in the user group permissions, will be displayed.
